SAND SPRINGS, Oklahoma — WAB Venture Inc. will open Sand Springs’ first Whataburger on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 9 a.m. The Whataburger franchisee bought the parcel in April. It is the 12th location for WAB, which owns restaurants in Oklahoma and Arkansas.

“Sand Springs is a great community, and the people here have been eager to enjoy the bold fresh flavors we plan to serve at THEIR Whataburger,” Operating Partner Ryan Frank said. “We cannot wait to welcome them to our newest location at 512 W. Morrow Road.”

The restaurant opens with a full-service 24-hour drive-thru and dining room.  Online ordering via the Whataburger App and Whataburger.com for curbside pickup and delivery will begin in the next month.

WAB has hired 100 local employees called Family Members, led by Frank.

The first guest in each drive-thru lane will receive a gift basket from Whataburger, as will the first guest in line at the dining room.

Whataburger is open 24/7, 364 days a year (closed Christmas Day). Breakfast is served from 11 p.m. to 11 a.m.
